PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This program is designed for those trainers and assessors who wish to upgrade their TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or their BSZ40198 Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
The program is based on a Recognition process that combines online knowledge-based assessment and evidence collection. The pathway to Recognition will depend on the age of your qualification and your experience over the last two years.
RECOGNITION PATHWAYS
Option 1: TAA40104 upgrade to TAE40110
Qualification 3 years old or less?
You will need to provide a copy of your TAA40104 transcript, a current CV, proof of ongoing professional development together with a portfolio of evidence.
Qualification older than 3 years?
You will also need to complete a knowledge evaluation to ensure current industry knowledge. You will need to gain 90% score on this evaluation with two attempts.
In addition you will need to provide a copy of your TAA40104 transcript, a current CV, proof of ongoing professional development together with a portfolio of evidence.
A review will be carried out after completion of the knowledge evaluation and assessment of your evidence portfolio to determine if any further learning and assessment is required.
Option 2: BSZ40198 upgrade to TAE40110
While some units in the BSZ qualification can be used to support Recognition there are no equivalent units for the TAE qualification. There are also units in the TAE40110 that are not included in the BSZ40198.
You will need to provide a copy of your BSZ40198 transcript and select three (3) elective units for the TAE40110 qualification - your assessor can assist you with this.
You will also need to complete a knowledge evaluation to ensure current industry knowledge. You will need to gain 90% score on this evaluation with two attempts.
In addition you will need to provide a copy of your TAA40104 transcript, a current CV, proof of ongoing professional development together with a portfolio of evidence.
A review will be carried out after completion of the knowledge evaluation and assessment of your evidence portfolio to determine if any further learning and assessment is required.

DATE DETAILS
You can commence at any time and complete any additional studies by joining current classes or self paced distance.
The knowledge evaluation can be completed online or in a Word document and emailed to your assessor.
